Flint Park

Eberlin & Eberlin provided Landscape architectural and Civil engineering services for the design of major urban park in southern Westchester County, NY. Included in the design are two full sized soccer fields, a baseball field and a little league field. The park is situated adjacent to the Long Island Sound. An environmental trail along the water front is also part of the design. Features of the athletic field include full field irrigation, an under drainage system and a manufactured root zone mix consisting of native soil, imported sand and humus and a selected seed/sod mixture. The environmental trail features a raised boardwalk over marshland, native plantings, overlooks with informative signage, osprey nesting platforms, and rustic seating areas. Construction is currently underway.
