Memorial Plaza

Eberlin & Eberlin was commissioned to design an important urban space in Downtown, New Rochelle. Community organizations were brought in early to review and comment on the design. The plaza will immortalize many of the City’s most recognizable citizens as well as those who served their community and country. The brick pavers will have the inscriptions of both people and families that make up the diverse population of the City. The rich textures and materials have transformed this downtown plaza into a friendly and safe environment for musical events, dedications and outdoor dining.
